Jen is a mixed media artist known for her abstract drawings, watercolor and mixed media paintings.  She has a BFA in printmaking and photography and a Masters’ degree in the Art of Teaching from Southern Oregon University.  She has had an extensive career as a member of the art faculty at Rogue Community College, where she teaches color theory, design, and watercolor painting.  She also teaches watercolor and design workshops throughout Southern Oregon and has taught for Mendocino Art Center as well as Sitka Art & Ecology Center.  She is known for her strong design skills and creatively flowing and textured paintings.  She is a supportive and popular teacher known for helping her students to discover their inner creativity and unique vision.
